The challenge of innovating education to solve unknown social issues KOOV

The new Sony Global Education service ‘KOOV’ comes in the form of a robot programming kit. However, as well consisting of hardware, software, and an application, ‘KOOV’ is also a web service that comprises various blocks of education tools. Whilst realizing the positive educational benefits of ‘tinkering’, it allows users to tap into their individuality. Here we discuss the motivation that will lead us to help resolve some of humanity’s future problems – through the use of an innovative educational strategy that develops on playing blocks used by kids.
